I fully agree with your post. I hope sincerely that we can right the damage done to this Republic, re-instill the virtues of having parties trying to accomplish the same Constitutional ends with perhaps a variance in methodology and perhaps even differing aims, but civil discourse.

I find it unlikely. The American people have been divided as if the population had been shoved through a Veg-O-Matic, across actual racial, cultural, economic, philosophical, party, religious, and regional lines, and if all else fails there are other ways to split the ranks over sports teams and other folly which seem effective.

We are not merely a 'house divided' but fractionated, pulverized by pop culture, ignorance, and folly, while there is far more we all have in common to focus on.

Unlike the Second World War when the enemy was an obvious and common enemy and even Hollywood and the Media joined in wholeheartedly supporting the war effort, this time we find America split, with the Media advocating the anti-American positions.

They do not have to win the war, only cause it. That will be victory enough for those who wish to destroy this country, for it will likely achieve their ends of toppling the world's one superpower.

Pity, for we all have more in common, when you take the rabid America-Haters out of the equation.

The idea that all want better for their children and that 'better' is being stolen/embezzled/baksheeshed out to the 'in' crowd on all our grandchildren's tab to enrich a few and impoverish the many would garner the ill will of the multitude, so it is hidden.

With the exception of those who are bent on the destruction of this nation and the looting of her treasure, virtually everyone wants to be prosperous, secure, and to be able to retire after a lifetime of work (or a few moments of innovation) to live out their golden years as they see fit, having passed some form of security and the ability to generate their own prosperity to their issue.

We will disagree with how to meet those ends, but who would not be angry that the future is being looted to pay for the dubious past of a few, at the common expense? --the expense of those who have acted responsibly and done their best to live within their means.

If it comes to that, one day we will consume the supplies stored against the days of hardship, or perish trying to endure and overcome.

In any event, we will hold our heads high knowing we did our best.

Joe, this has been in progress for about seventy years. It is called incrementalism and it is subverting and taking over our institutions a little at a time until one day - boom, its over. That day is near.

Do a search for Communist Goals and that will explain their plan. Then find the Frankfurt School and that will tell you how they did it. Then go to DiscovertheNetworks.org and that will summarize it all and give you a program of all the players.

For a detailed playbook read Saul Allinsky’s Rules for Radicals.
