Um, am I missing something here? Is there any particular reason that WE are paying for every Tom Dick and Harry in their entire tribe to go on all of these trips? I am really beyond over their BS. STARVE THE BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's a good question. Anyone know what the rules are on the president inviting guests to accompany him on trips? How many guests have past presidents had along on such visits?

Agree! (But careful, there — I’m sure someone on FR will take issue with the use of ‘tribe’ in your post. Surely it must be a ‘racist’ word, eh?) (just kidding you with that one, of course!)
There is no WAY all those relatives should be hangers-on re the summer ‘vacation’ in Europe et al. Even if the family is paying its own way (uh huh) it’s a huge distraction and just plain wrong.
