From what I’ve seen firsthand, black people do often overestimate racism and can see racism where it isn’t but the flip side is that white people often underestimate racism and don’t always see racism where it really exists. I’m not trying to play on guilt but it asking people to be nice really that much of a burden on everyone?

From what Ive seen 90% of white people bend over backward.... often making complete fools of themselves not to appear racist. The total inverse is true of black folk. Gets rather old.

Care to give some examples of that?

I'm half white (going by ethnicity) and seven-eights white (going by race). Is that pale enough to be one of those ignorant blind whiteys who can't see racism?

My other ethnic half is Hispanic. I guess maybe the eeevil white blood in me clouds my vision and prevents me from being a wise Latina.
