The recent uptick here in racist vitriol, aimed at Barrack, Michelle and their children has made me wonder if I belong. My objection to Obama has nothing to do with skin tone. Is the ugly stereotype of Conservative racism true?
You have a “born on” date of 2000. I think you’ve been around here long enough to answer your own snide question with the untrue premise.
Amen. I'll take content of a man's character over skin color every time.
Yeah. There have been a lot of things said about Bristol, etc., but I’ve never seen anything as ugly as what I saw in the thread about Malia’s shirt.
The conclusion I’m forced to reach is that Obama Derangement Syndrome is real, and it’s starting to make Bush Derangement Syndrome look tame.
I’m sorry, but I don’t give a crap about t-shirts, mustard, arugula, orange juice, pizza deliveries, Michelle Obama’s purse and shoes, a dog that wasn’t from a shelter, a DVD gift set.
Some of you don’t realize that obsessing over mindless bullcrap is going to push the Republican party further into exile. You are overseeing the destruction of the conservative movement.
There appears to be a ten percent element on FR who are racist in my opinion. I've personally hit the abuse button for numerous racist posts and comments by these clods. These people should be kicked out and never allowed back on. Obviously they think this forum is for whites only. It's not, it's for all Americans who believe in the constitution.
I know I’m always taken aback when I see people post pictures of monkeys and say it’s Michelle Obama. Once in a while I ping the moderators just in case they miss it, but I don’t know if they are stopping it or not.
Conservatives as a whole are FAR less racist than liberals are, who judge everyone solely by skin tone. People who express racist vitriol here are a minority, and whether or not they claim to be conservative, they do not represent conservatism in any way, shape or form.
The Democrat party is the party of racism - it's just that they disguise it very thinly to keep voting blocs from "leaving the plantation" as it were.
As far as I'm concerned, Obama is a dangerous man, and even if he were white or green, he'd be a dangerous man.
Oh please! Of course it isn’t. Only to those suffering from white guilt or some minority victim mentality.
If you have to ask if the “ugly stereotype of Conservative racism true?” then you clearly don’t understand Conservatism at all.
