I'll take it a step further. The judicial philosophy of Sotomayor and her fellow liberals is to issue rulings based not upon the wording of the Constitution of the United States of America, but rather upon the general consensus of the times. It is this
exact same philosophy that gave us Plessy v. Ferguson back in 1898. In that case, seven Justices completely ignored Amendment XIV and instead ruled based upon their personal beliefs. The opinion of the lone dissenter (a Republican) should be required study for every person in America.
