Remember the last big earthquake in China when the experts said it would stimulate China’s building sector?

Sounds like the building codes there need a little work.

Are Shanghai and Beijing safely out of the earthquake belt? Imagine one of those getting hit.

I blame Obama. He is to blame for the tragedy in China.

Oh my. 10,000 homes. And if I’m not mistaken, the southeast area hit by last year’s quake is still rebuilding. Thanks for posting.

Yeah, curious. I didn't catch it on the news, just assumed, lol, that coverage of Obama in Europe and Russia and news of Michael Jackson (still) were the 'top' stories.

After the disaster, and the resulting global bruhaha the chicom have seemed to shut the door on photos over the new.

Must have been pretty bad, but mud brick is not very quake resistant.

Oh, my, that's for sure. I wonder then, with 10,000 homes destroyed, what of the death toll, the survivors, and need for aid? Too bad it isn't an Olympic year, like last year, and maybe they would be more forthcoming. I agree, this makes it seem very devastating.

Wow, it just keeps getting worse.

Keep us posted, thanks. Sounds potentially devastating, at least in loss of property.
