If you don’t mind my asking, when and where did this occur. I am almost positive that it is illegal to vaccinate students without parental consent in all 50 states. You could probably sue the school district and easily win.
Almost two years ago in Lampasas Texas. It might not have been the HiB. It was the hepatitis B shot.
She had not been vaccinated for that because she was born in 1991. The shot wasn’t routine as part of the vaccination sequence until a couple of years later. (I do know my son got it and he was born in ‘93.) Because she was homeschooled, it had never come up.
I don’t have anything against vaccines, but I do have issues with not being told. As far as the new vaccine goes, I don’t want my kids to be at the vanguard.
There’s a reason one shouldn’t buy the first model year of a new car. All the problems come out when it is released to the public.
