Media Matters for America, a liberal news media watchdog, is castigating MSNBC for interviewing former Congressman Tom Campbell about California's budget crisis without identifying him as a Republican.
"During a discussion about the California budget crisis on the July 8 edition of MSNBC's Morning Meeting, host Dylan Ratigan interviewed former Rep. Tom Campbell (R-CA), but at no point disclosed that Campbell is a Republican," Media Matters said in a report. "Ratigan introduced Campbell as "a former California state budget director" and 'currently an economics and law professor at Chapman University,' and also stated that Campbell has 'the best budget familiarity.'

Media Matters is a George Soros front group. They aren’t “media watchdogs”, they need to disclose their own political activist ties.

Ratigan isn’t so bad. No wonder Media Matters is giving him trouble.
Tom Campbell leans pretty left — but compared to the commies in California who call themselves democrats, he is able to masquerade as a republican...

I like Tom Campbell personally but shy away from supporting him for the governorship, and here’s why: He advocates tax hikes as part of the solution to the budget mess.
Tom, I love ya, but bull f****** s*** to any more tax hikes. Cut spending, period.
Is MSNBS that desperate that it has to pay Media Matters to watch its programming? Wow.
I suggest the guitar. Which as chance would have it, I can sell them three. And an amplifier too. 
There is Accuracy In The Media (AIM) which monitors the news from a right wing perspective.
There is also FAIR (Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting) which is UNFAIR in that it spins news from a liberal mindset.
Media Matters has repeatedly selectively redacted statements to FALSELY attribute quotes to conservatives (Bill Bennett for example read a passage from a book and then gave his own response to refute the conclusion yet that isn’t what Media Matters sent out as a press release).
Joe Biden did the same exact thing (attributing a quote by Clarence Thomas TO Mr. Thomas) during the opening statements of the Clarence Thomas nomination hearing.
He is a social lib, but fiscal conservative. It doesn't matter how smart or conservative the Governor is...as long as the real power in in the Left/Far Left democrat controlled State Assembly, California will be in trouble.
Campbell is one of the very few who you can say - He know what he doing.
However temporary and small his proposed tax hike may be, the fact remains that it is unnecessary and destructive. The state does not lack for tax revenue. It must reduce its spending.
Media Matters has no shame. The media never id’s dem crooks a dems.
