Over 60 Black and Latino inner city campers show up to use a pool at a private facility. They have only 90 minutes to use the pool and are very excited. One child claims to have overhead a parent say: "Uh, what are all these black kids doing here?' 'I'm scared they might do something to my child". A parent of one of the kids claimed:"The pool attendants came and told the black children that they did not allow minorities in the club and needed the children to leave immediately."
As many predicted, more info has come out in later stories. While it was portrayed as if the kids were immediately told to get out and never come back, the latest information shows this is not the case. In fact, Alethea Wright, the camp's executive director admits the kids were allowed to stay for their entire session and were not made to leave early. She also states that she heard no racially charged comments.
While the groups visit took place on June 29th, it was not until July 3rd that the groups membership was canceled.
One of the main charges of "racism" is focusing on a word used by John Duesler, President of The Valley Swim Club who said "There was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion … and the atmosphere of the club,". While the attacks are focusing on Mr. Duesler for the use of "complexion" what is being ignored is that he wanted the group to stay and according to Mrs. Wright said "Miss Wright, I truly apologize, I'm so embarrassed, but the membership has overthrown me in votes and you're not going to be able to come back to the club."
He said it was the membership that overruled the new experiment of allowing day camps to use the private facility and that other camps were canceled as well, not just the one in question.
Club member Bernadette Sinnott, 44, said that although she was not at the pool on June 29, she had heard the club took back the campers' membership because of space issues, not race.
"I think they thought it was too crowded," she said.
Sinnott was at the club yesterday with her son Brandon, 14, who said he was biracial and had never encountered racism at the pool.
While this story has exploded in the national media, another story has not gotten the same attention. A white family enjoying fireworks on the 4th of July was physically attacked by a large group of black teens shouting: ''This is our world'' and ''This is a black world''.
Racism is wrong but so is selective reporting...
File another one under “duh.”
Even if it happened exactly as they said it did, so what?
How can this be? With the age of Obama, I thought every race in America would join hand in hand singing the Coke song..

The only reason Al Sharpton is famous is because he touted alleged vile abuse perpetrated against a black girl named Tawana Brawley by whites.
For months and months this went on. ANd finally Tawana cracked and admitted the incident never happened, and that she had smeared dog poop all over herself. I do believe she was out late and needed to blame it on something, so she invented a racially charged crime that never happened as a cover story.
Pretty soon, help won’t come when the boy cries *racism*.
What Irony, in this video(:27-:28 seconds into vid) just when the voiceover says "we are the only minorities there".
I guess that why they are no longer calling the club "all white" and instead are calling it "mostly white".

This refers to the New York State Senate.

If I was dues paying member of a private pool I’d be damned if I’d want 60 kids to come pee in my pool during my swim. And I don’t care what color they are. It’s all yellow.
