You sound like me. I exercise 7 days a week, 365 days a year, for an hour and half. Walking with leg and hand weights. I lost 40 pounds, my bmi is 18, which makes me slightly underweight. I weigh myself daily to keep a close watch on things going up or down. I also keep a food diary so I’m accountable for every calorie I ingest. Pain in the rear? You bet. Do I like what I see when I look in the mirror? Absolutely. Does hubby like it? No, he likes me curvier but I feel better about myself, which translates to benefits for him.

Yep. It's worth it. I don't have to buy clothes to make me look slimmer or think "do I look fat in this." Which I did constantly when I was fat.

I'm about 5'11, and my body wants to be 220. That's where my weight gain stops unless I really, really eat (which happened six years ago and I got significantly heavier than that.) All the guys on my mom's side have that build as far back as we have pictures. So to stay around 160 is a significant struggle. But so far, so good.
