Temperatures dropped to a record low in Prince Edward Island overnight Tuesday, with reports of frost throughout the province.Bob Robichaud, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, said that to his knowledge, frost has never been reported before in July in P.E.I.

“That 3.8 we got last night kind of sticks out as being lower than some of the other records for anytime in early July,” Robichaud told CBC News on Wednesday.

“So we’re looking at a significant event,” he said.

Could this year be a rival to the "Year Without A Summer"?

The year was 1816, and it was attributed to volcanic action. Perhaps this years "cooling" is attributable to lack of sunspot activity, and its associated causes and effects.

for those familiar with Prince Edward Island, my last name is: Des Roches

I emailed the article earlier to my FORMER-die-hard-Global-warming-beleiving sisters in Maine. They are starting to have doubts about it. COOL!!!!

I was in PEI three years ago - it’s a beautiful province. As for the unnaturally cool weather, it was 49°F here in Concord, NH this morning (quite unusual for mid-July) and even cooler in the mountains.

I plan to be in PEI and Atlantic Canada in Sept. I’m wondering now if I should bring a parka.

It was in the 40’s here (Poconos - 75 miles from NYC) this morning. Tomatoes won’t set fruit with night temperatures this low. Working on getting a greenhouse set up.

I have a diary written the last time there was a deep solar minimum (1913) describing conditions a half mile from here. There were frosts right up to the end of June as well as the end of August.

A freak storm hit Yonkers, NY Tuesday night, they had to bring out the snow removers. (Yonkers is just north of New York City)

I'm sure I'm not the first to realize that the Global Warming Alarmists had hoped to have Kyoto and other measures passed awhile back, so that when this natural climate shift happened they could claim victory and give each other more Nobel Prizes.

When the public panics the panic eventually susbsides with no lasting damage.

When government panics they toss the shackles on everyone and everything even when the cause of the panic is a hoax. That is why they are dangerous.

“Climate variability is evidence of global warming, don’t you know.”

So now the argument is that cooling=warming? Curiouser and curiouser.

All the global warming is centered in Texas. We have already set a new record for 100+ days in June and July.

Climate variability is evidence of global warming, don't you know.

Hmmmmm...Perhaps you have not received last year's memo.
The term 'global warming' became the punch line for so many jokes, for so many rebuttals...that the watermelon crowd now utilizes the term 'climate change'.

Too hot..too cold, / floods versus droughts / too much snow, not enough snow / record hurricanes, lack of hurricanes / snow in Summer / too windy, lack of winds ...ALL now attributable to 'climate change'.
The catch all phrase that's sure to support their every evolving position.

The high in Indianapolis yesterday was 75, 10 below normal and today it hasn’t gotten that warm yet as of noon time. On the 4th the high was 70 the coldest high on record for the date and the second year in a row we have broken that record. Normally this time of year we are in the pool every night and the AC is running. This year we have had the pool open about 10 days since Mid-May and the air has been off for weeks at a time.

Oh yea we also got down to -11 this winter and stayed below zero night time for 5 straight days. This hasn’t happened in almost 20 years.

But our local paper continues to publish stories regularly about GW. It’s no wonder their circulation is dropping as fast as the temps.

I've been on this Earth for 66+ years and I know for a fact that Climate Change is a fact of life.

the sun comes up and the day's climate changes! The sun goes down and the climate changes.

Each day's climate is really the weather which is based on the sun, the tilt of the Earth and the Earth's distance from the sun!

If we want to affect the climate we need to do one thing.

Attach a rocket and thrust the Earth into a higher orbit in relation to the sun.

Move over Mars, Here we come!

SARC OFF
