US officials eye North Korea in cyber attack
By LOLITA C. BALDOR, Associated Press Writer 2 hrs 36 mins ago
WASHINGTON U.S. authorities on Wednesday eyed North Korea as the origin of the widespread cyber attack that overwhelmed government Web sites in the United States and South Korea, although they warned it would be difficult to definitively identify the attackers quickly.
The powerful attack that targeted dozens of government and private sites underscored how unevenly prepared the U.S. government is to block such multipronged assaults.

“The widespread attack was “loud and clumsy,” which suggests it was carried out by an unsophisticated organization...”
As loud and clumsy as it was, it sure was effective in disrupting the US gubbermint for a few days. Probably the only reason we know about it is the ‘noise’ it made.
I wonder how many ‘sophisticated attacks’ are continuing in their silence.

Wow. We are now “EYEING” them. I`m sure that frightens them and sends a dribble of piss down their pants leg.

Surely this eye-ing has put an end to it, and will not happen anymore. Fear of being eyed again is a potent deterrent.

You know...I could’ve sworn we had a few ICBV’s lying around...
We should send them over in the fun way...
Inter-Continental Ballistic Viruses...
With all the tremendously skilled hackers and deviant pimply faced geeks we have in this country who know how to really mess up computer networks...
Wouldn’t it be fun to put them on the payroll and give them a job to take NK’s computer systems down???
That would be a real hoot...

One way to counter the NK's is let the college geeks attack the internet in NK.
Ask the Chinese how well their online businesses didn't work for a couple of months.
