I remember watching those Billy Dee Williams Colt 45 ads late at night back in the late 80's or early 90's. Either Channel 20 or Channel 50. I always laughed at those ads. They are cartoonish. Like the old Red Dog ads aimed at us white folk.
Somebody's drinking it, although actually I usually see only white college students drink malt liquor (cheap).
The only drink I've only seen blacks drink is Hennessy cognac. Back when I was at college, one guy on our dorm floor had us all try it. Us white guys didn't acquire the taste. That's alright, nobody wanted to try my whiskey. :)

when I was a kid I knew some who drank Dr Tichenors...
malt liquor has been the province of blacks....big bang for the buck
