Confidence in Obama, economy still dropping

Yesterday, I noted that the Rasmussen poll with a Barack Obama “passion index” of -3 still had yet to fully poll after last week’s unemployment figures were published. Today’s rolling approval index is the first to have all of its data taken after the announcement that joblessness continues to increase, and the passion index has hit its lowest level yet. Obama’s approval has come close to statistical parity, too:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 32% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –5.

The number who strongly disapprove inched up another point to the highest level measured to date and the overall Approval Index is at the lowest level yet for Obama (see trends).

That’s what happens when you sell Hope and Change and deliver on neither.

Think so? Look at the RE market!

And look for Presentation to NAIOP on Commercial Real Estate, July 2009

This will rattle your cage. Look at the last slides in particular.

This guy is a Von Mises fan so it should be interesting to hear him debate the Fed Heads.

Barack Obama still has a 52% approval rating, but his overall disapproval rating has hit 48%. That four-point range is just outside of the three-point margin of error,

Somebody should keep track of the difference between Pres--ent Ubama's approval rating and the unemployment rating.

Right now it's at 52% to 9.5%. That's a difference of 42.5%

If the difference ever gets to zero, he may very well have a tough time getting re-elected.

I’m beginning to think Rhambo overplayed his hand with the “don’t waste a crisis” mentality.

To me, the economy and stock market look ready to start a second leg downward that will be very difficult to blame on Republicans.

It may also be difficult for the Baraqqis to muster all the illegals and minorities and dead voters for the 2010 House elections like they did for President Baraq.

We may have a shot at slowing the stampede.

“The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 32% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President.”

What irony. 32% is also what the unemployment rate will be in six months.
