Lyndon Johnson led the Great Society. Barack Obama leads the Great Big Apology Society.
So it’s only natural that the National Black Republican Association (all twelve members) believe the President should apologize to them for the Democrat Party’s long, sordid history of racism.
They call the Democrat Party “the party of the four S’s: Slavery, Secession, Segregation, and now Socialism.” And they want President Obama to issue that apology ASAP.
“The Democratic Party Owes Blacks an Apology” by Chairman Frances Rice, explains their reasoning.
As the Examiner reports: The NBRA is not asking this of our government, our country, American citizens, nor the Republican Party. They are asking it solely from the Democrat Party. Further, they ask Democrats to stop “issuing unwarranted apologies on behalf of America, while simultaneously using racial politics for partisan political gain.”
The black Republicans put the blame for America’s racial problems right square on the shoulders of the Democrat Party. They believe the Democrat Party socialist policies actually harm blacks instead of helping them.
We consider this demand for an apology racist and discriminatory because it excludes white Republicans from receiving the apology they’re owed by Democrats.
So on behalf of white Republicans, we demand an apology for Al Gore, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter. Especially Jimmy Carter.
We’re waiting.

Thanks to their ancesters they live in the greatest country in the world. If they want to live in their homeland they should go home.If they want to be free Americans they should just shut up and live and work with the rest of us.

I'm the biggest critic of Black political behavior on this forum, and I think you're completely missing the point.
Black Republicans are using the Democrat strategy of demanding apologies to call attention to the fact that the Democrats are hypocrites, that they keep voters racially divided for political gain, and that they have no business apologizing to the world for America.

fun fact: i am still registered as a dem. i am actuallly a constitutional conservative but at 18 when asked for party affiliation i (under the influence of relatives, youthful idealism, and silliness) went with dem. i got over it, but never changed the registration. what does this have to do with anything you ask? simple I WILL NOT APOLOGIZE TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING I HAD NO PART OF!! in tracing my family tree i discovered i am a descendent of charlemagne emperor of france. my ancestors owned slaves (white and black) that is a documented fact. i have never owned anyone, never had a slave (boy child might argue that point) and find racism and slavery to be morally reprehensible and repugnant. i am not at fault for what a bunch of dead people did over a hundred yrs. ago and i’ll be damned if i apologize to a bunch of race baiting dimwits who want to be victims. memo to me: don’t forget to change voter registration to “unaffiliated”.
Will reparations be awarded to the part of my family tree that descended from my GGGrandaunt and and unknown black man? some of the decedents are living as white families, in the South and North.
NBRA?? While I don't disagree the Democrats have perfected playing the race game/card. Only in the twilight zone or Orwell's' world is this not patently absurd. How about the NBRA disband and stand up and call for the disbandment of the Black Caucus, NAACP and all the other race groups?

The Democrat Party have painted themselves into a corner with appeasement of groups that have grown-up with exceptions.
The Democrat party promises special treatment, and when the special treatment is really a formula of forcing limitations on an individual’s potential. Generations are denied a change to thrive. It’s good that the Democrat party might reap the result in some small way.

That sort of satire can backfire and make you look like the hypocrites. I prefer never to adopt Democrat strategies.
