(Obama. We kind of underestimated the creepiness.)

In other words, he lies about wanting to work with Republicans when in fact he’s an ideological egomaniac that won’t take no for an answer.

a public option that will force the insurance companies to compete and keep them honest."
The Kenyan knows this is a lie. The public-option, since it won't have to make a profit, will undercut the private insurers and ultimately drive them out of business. Then, the Alinsky-trained community organizer will see his dream come true. Government run health care. He's got the auto companies, he's got the banks, next he'll have the entire medical community. Unless he is stopped cold, this once formerly great country will become Cuba north. Be prepared for rationed medical care and long waits to see a doctor.

well, Bam, using your logic (and leaving aside the oxymoronic use of “government” and “honest” in the same statement) why not then also have:
a government run Auto Insurance company
a government run Life Insurance company
a government run Credit Card company
a government run Restaurant chain
a government run Grocery Store chain
etc. etc. etc....
Just to keep the big guys honest, of course...

as Ive said before, that one of the best ways to bring down costs, provide more choices, and assure quality is a public socialized option that will force the insurance companies to compete bankruptcy and keep them honest out of the marketplace.
