“I have two family members who voted for O who are having discomfort and regret”
I have one. My mother who came of age in the 60’s. Part of the reason for her idiotic vote was that “the blacks deserved it after all we did to them.”
How I am a conservative is the topic of many family get-togethers.
I suspect about half of his voters were of that mindset. The other half are just plain old Communists.

Well I am glad that guilt vote is over now and we can start electing qualified people!
Seriously, I think a good chunk of his vote came from whites that thought it would relieve them of some feeling of guilt they have for slavery, even though we lost 600,000 good men ridding our nation of it.
