The tone of this article is typically bleeding heart and brainless. The question isn’t about quantity but of responsibility and offensive mindedness.

The announced reduction in nuke weapons is numerical and this gives numbers.

I realize that but the tone of the article is biased against the US.

I love the reference to “so called rogue states like NK, Iran.”

So-called? lol

Sure, we’re reducing our nukes, but we still have enough of an arsenal to protect ourselves 100 times over. Point is, since Hiroshima, we’ve used them as a defensive deterrent.

NK, Iran and Pakistan (if the Taliban has it’s way) will use them offensively on a whim.

The announced reductions are bleeding-heart and brain-dead, too. Repeats the old “Sarajevo Fallacy”. Russia wants us to scrap ABM technology, like it always has, because they can’t afford it. Dumping nukes is a sideshow, expecially if Russia doesn’t comply along with us, as history has shown they are inclined to do.
