JERUSALEM – In a recent small roundtable press briefing, President Obama referred to Jakarta, Indonesia, as his old home town while he reminisced about his schoolboy days in the world's most populous Muslim country.

During the presidential campaign last year, questions were raised as to whether Obama ever possessed Indonesian citizenship, with the subject first being broached last summer by WND after a photograph emerged of Obama's school registration papers as a child in Indonesia showing the presidential candidate listed as a "Muslim" with "Indonesian" citizenship.

Most attention in this vein is on his "natural born citizenship," but I've wondered about the function of that requirement in light of where a person spends young formative years. In other words, where one lives his or her first two years of life isn't as formative as where one lives from the ages of 2-10 or 12.

I don't consider him to be "American" in the sense that the founders expected a person to be, in order to qualify for the office of president.

the group Americans for Freedom of Information has Released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College Released today,
the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school.
The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California.

There is one thing that is certain. The US State Dept, Hawaii Dept of Health, the Indonesian Govt, the Pakistani Govt and the Govt of Kenya no more about Zero than the American public. At some point, that information will come out...or be used.

I can only hope, but we need more than this. Every time old info is played up as a bombshell, or people promise the goods and don’t deliver, we lose more credibility. We are already a laughingstock if we believe there are serious citizenship issues. This kind of stuff gets us marginalized further. We need to hold our fire til we actually have something.
