Glen was very good at the Tea Party but I've been disappointed with him so far this week. Especially the dissing of Sarah.

I listened to Rush’s comments on Sarah Palins resignation. He thinks that she is, by no means, washed up. He kind of compared her to himself. Operating in her own way, just like he does.

I think he right. I don’t care what the pundits say. I think her future is bright. She was spending too much time defending herself and little time governing. Her kids were under attack. Time to stop what she’s doing and regroup, and then get herself into a position where she can fight back full-barrel and unencumbered by the proprieties of public office.

From the number of folks that are not here... it looks like we’re not the only ones who are disappointed with him.

Yeah, yesterday was a little better but I'm surprised at how unprofessional and unprepared he sounds. He wasn't that way at the Tea Party at all! On the Q&R show he tends to ramble and sometimes loses his place. He's only been doing radio for a couple of years IIRC, but even so he should know how to do basic show prep by now.

On another subject I just heard on WTAE TV that the Fort Duquense Bridge - one of the major bridges to Pittsburgh - is going to undergo a 23 million dollar renovation project and will have lanes closed or restricted for over a year. The project includes mostly signage, lighting, painting and other things that are basically make work because the bridge underwent a similar project not too long ago. The traffic reporter made sure to mention that the project is being funded by the "stimulus" package. He called it the American Reinvestment and Recovery Fund.

Oh my! I can't listen until I finish recording. Is he REALLY doing Michael Jackson stuff again? That is the last thing I would do today! Even then it would be just a mention something like...They held the memorial for Michael Jackson yesterday...RIP...now can we move along?

I was looking for a thread that I saw right before I posted the thread - about Obama visiting the pope. Something about “six things”? Darn if I can find it. It seemed to disappear.

What was it? I know the Vatican has announced that Hussein will meet with the Pope at the conclusion of the G-8 summit but other than that I don't know anything about it.
