Obama to Russia: stop Iranian nuclear weapon and US will scrap missile defence
President Obama today offered to scrap plans for a missile defence shield in Eastern Europe if Russia helped to stop Iran developing a nuclear bomb.
He appealed in Moscow for a new era of partnership between Russia and the United States to fight the spread of nuclear weapons to rogue states and terrorist groups.
"That is why we should be united in opposing North Korea's efforts to become a nuclear power and preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon," he said.
Russia strongly opposes US plans to site the missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic, which Washington says is necessary to defend against a surprise attack from Iran.
Mr Obama made clear that he was willing to strike a deal with the Kremlin.

"I know Russia opposes the planned configuration for missile defence in Europe . . . I have made it clear that this system is directed at preventing a potential attack from Iran and has nothing to do with Russia," Mr Obama said in a speech to students graduating from Moscow's New Economic School.

Wow. Very bad. But OTH, this is exactly his goal from college onwards, now that it is on the table he will see his life’s work as done. Not that it be implemented, but just that in office as President US, he went to Russia and put it on the table. To Obama words are the same as deeds. Just by having the position and saying that which he determined from college to say he is done.
He will now unwind. I mean as in become vulnerable, break down, etc.
He is unused to real success, just in meeting specific well-established goals, where those goals are of a nominal nature. One the name of office is achieved, or a bill passed, or a plan filed, the goal is met. That’s not the same as success.
It is just you. Our missile defense can’t protect us from a Russian attack using MRV’d missiles and sub launced ones. It was never developed to counter the Russians but rogue nations with a few nuclear missiles.

He will probably get nothing in the long run as the Russians only suggest what the Iranian's ought to do - Iran will stick to it (if at all) for awhile. Obama will be heralded as a hero with the left and the cheerleaders in the MSM. When the Iranian's are discovered to be "cheating", it will be handled by the press similar to the NK deal that Clinton made.
I wonder if Hillary learned anything from that deal - Will she, in the State Department, go along with the charade?

He’s stupid. People around him may be less so (actually, they can’t help but be less so), but Obama is a half-wit. If he had any brains, he would not have been used by the Illinois/Chicago machine when they needed a sacrificial candidate to run for our senate seat against Ryan.
