“Pope Benedict called on Tuesday for a “world political authority” to manage the global economy”
Seems to me there used to be a train of thought that had the Catholic Church as the anti-Christ. I also remember something written....somewhere about how the anti-christ will seek dominion over the world economy. Not that I believe any of that, but the Pope has to know that this does not look good. He’s a smart man, I am sure he knows exactly what he is talking about.
I believe that train of thought was not the pope as anti christ but as the false prophet....in cahoots with the anti christ....not my philosophy, just one I’ve also heard...
The Bible does say that the Anti-Christ will rise up from among the very people who crucified Christ (the Romans), that’s how we can know Obama isn’t the Anti-Christ arrived on the scene. That doesn’t mean it’ll be the Pope, certainly, but the AC will likely use the Pope to achieve his goal of a global religion and global economy/government.
