Yeah, I know that is the conventional thinking. But I'm not sure those votes might split fairly evenly. I know the "conservative" (independent) candidate cost Stivers some votes, but the Libbies might go for Kilroy, and if so it's pretty much a wash.
I just think 2010 is going to be a tough slog for 'Pubs in general. The media is going to burnish Bama's glow even more because he's "too big (and important) to fail", and that means keeping as many Bama allies as possible. Even given the utter failure Strickland has been, the voters, in the end, will probably give him another turn.

Eckhart was an anti-abortion activist, right? He picked the wrong district in which to run-—Stivers is pro-life (unless I’m confusing him with someone else).
