Eckhart is a Christian and pro-life. I don’t know if the term “anti-abortion activist” would be an accurate moniker for him, though.
My recollection was that Eckhart’s campaign was based largely on the abortion issue (or at least that’s what the papers reported). I have no problem with that (I’m 100% pro-life myself), but I would prefer to have Stivers in Congress instead of an ultra-liberal Democrat.
