So basically it’s the rich’s fault poor people eat at McDonald’s, smoke, drink and are without insurance.
To: reaganaut1
So, based on all the other taxes they want for this group, that puts it at 54% tax on those making that amount of money now, right?
To: reaganaut1
I thought nobody making less then 250k was going to get a tax increase?

Will they get to dictate the terms of the insurance since they will be shouldering most of the cost, percentage wise?

No, I think it’s more along the lines, that rich people have more money, to put towards the costs. The money has to come from somewhere.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
I'll revise that a little: From each according to his ability, to each according to what WE decide he needs.

Well to heck with that, I am just going to get paid in cash from here on out, buy gold bars/coins and bury them in my back yard, and live life like an ordinary middle class citizen.
If they keep doing this they will do nothing but drive the rich to do this and they will see their returns dwindle to one tenth than if they just had a flat tax at 10% for everyone with no loopholes or exemptions.

But, once the Pay Tsar gets done setting top salaries of CEO, nobody will be allowed to make that much unless you are a politician or a lawyer.

Exactly. Im shocked that its only a measly 4%. That's the "teaser" rate for the rubes. By the time they're done it'll be much, much larger.
