A former executive for a defense contractor with ties to powerful Democratic U.S. Rep. John Murtha is charged by federal prosecutors in Pittsburgh with taking about $200,000 in kickbacks from a subcontractor.
The executive charged is Richard Ianieri, of Doylestown, who used to work for a company called Coherent Systems International Corp.

Kuchera, which has given ten of thousands of dollars to Murtha’s campaign and political action committee, has been under scrutiny in recent months.
In April, the Navy suspended the Kucheras and their companies for “alleged fraud” including multiple instances of incorrect charges, along with allegations of defective pricing and ethical violations

The first indictment mentioned today, in washington post, that there is a cooperating witness. The next step is that the next targets get arrested and if they have info the feds want, they get a deal.
Wonder if this will get to Murtha?? Will the PMA group roll?? What about the Kuchera brothers or their wives, if they get charged.
