Quotes from Obama's Russia Interview With NBC ("No, no, no, no, no" misread, "incomplete data")

On Biden's comment that the administration "misread" the economy:

"No, no, no, no, no. Well, I would actually ... rather than say misread, we had incomplete information."

"What I would say is that in some areas you're seeing the economic engine turn but what we always knew was that A -- this recession was going to be deep, B -- it was going to last for a while."

Don’t really want to watch it, but at what point did he finally get around to blaming everything on Bush?

He blamed in on the “incomplete information” they had.

More BS, basically.

Again, the Democrats definitively state, “We don’t know what the problem is, but trust us to fix it.”

I was watching Fox News yesterday and they were getting commentary from the Obama Administration on the ineffectiveness of the stimulus package. Every time you hear a quote from his administration on the economy you get the same talking point, "You have to remember, we inherited the worst economy since the great depression." It really irritates me that no one throws the BS flag.

One - it wasn't the worst economy since the great depression - Carter's mess was bigger by almost every measurement. Two - The President only signs the budget. Congress drafts it and the Senate reconciles and approves it. Since Congress was controlled by the Democrats during the whole downward trend, Obama inherited his own party's economy. Bush shares some blame for signing the budget, but Congress and the Senate should get an equal share of the blame.

“incomplete information”

Is he saying his "Office of President Elect" was incompetent? I really don't think anyone was hiding economic information. Perhaps his aides were clueless from the start?

Or just maybe, it is impossible to spend one's way out of a recession and Obama has failed!

A second economic stimulus package could still be on the table, President Obama suggested Tuesday as the unemployment rate hovered close to 10 percent.

In an interview with FOX News in Moscow, Obama defended the roll-out so far of the stimulus package passed in February, saying he knew the scope of the economic crisis would make recovery difficult no matter what.

“I think it’s important to understand that we’ve got a short-term challenge which, no matter how big our stimulus was, was going to be a challenge — partly because we’ve got fiscal constraints,” Obama said.

"No, no, no, no, no. Well, I would actually ... rather than say misread, we had incomplete information."

Did Reagan know Gorbachev would tear down the wall?

Did General Bradley know he could take Omaha Beach?

What Obama is admitting to is that he is a failure as a leader.

Is Biden only now realizing that you truly cannot spend yourself out of crushing debt? That printing more and more dollars must ultimately reduce the value of each?

Wow, I feel so much better with him and Obama in charge.
