A number of Palin defenders have argued that Mitt Romney similarly cut and run from Massachusetts. While there is an important distinction between resigning office and declining to run for reelection -- Romney served out the entire term to which he was elected -- I basically agree with this criticism. Romney's abandonment of Massachusetts during a critical juncture in fights over health care, the budget, and the definition of marriage was the single greatest factor that shifted me from a Romney-sympathetic commentator to a critic. (The spin of Romney's flip-flops by some of his overzealous supporters played a role too, as did his health care plan.)

watching Romney exit the field while so many of the issues he claimed to care about were in play, leaving the commonwealth to suffer one-party Democratic rule for the first time since the Dukakis years without any serious check or challenge, was too much to take. The man who rode back into the Bay State to save the GOP from a certain disaster at the hands of Jane Swift ended up merely delaying the inevitable for four years.

Ball of string and all that...
No and I don't like electrocution either. LOL Sad to say that that man holds a hell bent death grip on our nations future. If ever there was demonic powers given someone he's a good example.
Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my Viking Kitty/ZOT ping list!. . . don't be shy.
Zottee of the moment got his/her own thread from the owner:

I’ll say. We still have a major impaction here that needs evacuation...
And, hey, your dog would probably have more intelligent and coherent posts than the Slick Willardbots (and as the old cartoon goes, nobody knows you’re a dog on the internet). ;-D
It is not like we risk them having any susbtative counterpoints. Indeed their antics have driven many borderline Mitt supporters away from the man. They often have been our best player...s
You know, we joke about these cretins, but it’s no joke when you consider what kind of power they wield. At some point, it goes beyond the incompent and dangerous officeholding thugs themselves to where the people that keep reelecting them need to be held personally liable. Frank has absolutely no business being in any position of authority, period.
Now if Mitt really wanted to do a huge service for the nation above and beyond the call of duty he should move into Barney Frank’s district and run for his seat. That would be an acceptable trade IMO.
LOL
No . . . you're not.
ROFLMAO
;-)
They’d never elect him in that district. Sadly, a few decades or so ago, part of that district used to be one of the most reliably Republican in the nation (sent Republicans almost uninterrupted from before the Civil War until 1983, including the prior GOP Speaker of the House, Joe Martin). DINO Gov. Ed King signed off on a redistrict to flush Frank from office in 1982 (when he was a freshman) by combining him with the stronger “R” incumbent Peg Heckler, but to everyone’s shock, Frank beat Heckler. Of course, there was still a MA GOP in those days, you couldn’t even safely gerrymander a single seat in MA to elect even one Republican, it’s not possible.
Run him as a DEM then LOL. I don’t like either one but Frank very much less to the point of hate. Still even Romney as a DEM in congress it would be safer for all concerned than having Frank. I mean Mitt can play either party part ya know. Impossible to get rid of Frank but dern a person can wish.
I’ve actually said that if a district must elect a rodent, and I mean a really leftist district, they should be someone so blatantly offensive that they serve as a lightning rod for the opposition to show the rest of the country that people like him should not be trusted with the power of the majority. It’s like when Cynthia McKinney was replaced in Georgia, the current guy in there is a Black Buddhist who votes almost identical to McKinney, but nobody knows who he is, and how can you vilify a friendly Buddhist ? You need an offensive person to match their offensive votes.
Amazing to see the people from the threads you posted who would not tolerate any criticism of Mittens, or who said that unless McCain picked Romney they wouldn’t support him.
Tolerant lot, aren’t they?
Yes, indeed. Go Mitt. Go anywhere but here.
Oh, you meant it enthusiastically... my bad. Well, if you insist...
