As I see it, the establishment - on BOTH sides of the aisle - are out to destroy her because if she gets into real power she will destroy their comfy situations. The rats and the GOP tolerate each other’s shifty deals, I believe a lot of the complaints are for show. But look how they keep their mouths shut about their own pay raises, their enormous perks, their side deals where they all get rich while pretending to be our “public servants”.

Sarah has shown she won’t tolerate this from ANYONE and that is why I believe they’re against her and why so many of us see her as our champion - someone who will seriously pursue honest government, by the people, for the people, of the people.

I support whatever she does....and if it’s to protect her family and live a normal quiet life then I support that also.

Sarah’s not quitting. She’s just reorganizing her forces for the bigger battle ahead.

I’ve sent back 4 or 5 RNC fundraising letters with the statement “All my donations are going to SarahPAC. Amount donated so far XXXXXX”

Sorry, I just can’t get into your “roll over and die” approach to this thing. Sit and wait thru 8 years of Obama without doing everything we can to get him out of office as quickly as possible? Sorry. Right now, our best shot at getting Obama out in four years is Sarah Palin. We need to get behind her now, and get behind her hard.

Not ALL Republicans are like those in the McCain and Romney campaigns.

Agreed, and I would join with them in a new conservative party to take this country back.

Expalin to everybody, only the way you can, Gov. Palin has done this before but this time it is on a bigger stage. Think Gas Commissioner to Governorship as a outsider. The same strategy applies. (CodaCuda)

Colleen O'Connor should explain that to the idiot Carl Rove. The author of Bush's illegal alien policy doesn't get it. But then, considering how POORLY Bush II did against such losers as Kerry and Algore, I guess Rove shouldn't be too critical of other people's moves. The simple fact is Bush II SHOULD have blown Kerry and Algore out of the water in both elections instead of winning by such cliff hangers. I don't think Rove understands the GOP rank and file or the average American. He acts more like a domestic policy version of Henry Kissinger, another CLOWN from days past who occasionally floats back to the top of the political bowl to mouth some RINOesque statement.

Assuming she wants to be President, I don’t see her running on 2012.

Sarah Palin does not seem to be the type of person who'd wait until 2016 to run for President just because America will be in worse shape then than in 2012.

I’m not rolling over to die, that’s just how I think it will unfold if she wants the Whitehouse.

We are conservatives, NOT (spit!) “populists”!

Reagan won two landslide elections with populist support.

This is exactly how I feel. This is what I have had in my heart, but did not have the ability to express myself.

I believe Sarah Palin cares too much about this country to wait that long to let things deteriorate to that point.

I doubt that Obama will be able to be re elected as our economy continues going south. By 2012 we will know just how bad his decisions were and maybe, his birth certificate will suddenly show up that he is not a citizen after all.
Democrats will be hoard put to get someone else after blindly voting for all obama’s agenda.
I just hope we can correct the mess before it is too late.

Those candidates will see just who in the GOP is the one bringing in the funds AND voters, and it won’t be the RINOS.

The RINOS control the RNC. Sarah will need all the support we can muster. I have contributed $$$ to the RNC in the past. But all....and I mean all my monry is going to Sarah this time around.

Great analysis. The elites do not see the impending tidal wave.

I think this is a more important piece than appears at first blush.

I went to high school with O'Conner's brothers. She is a liberal to the core. So for her to say this probably means there are more liberals out there who also get it. But none of them are saying it out loud. I think the vicious attacks on Palin are a manifestation of "they're getting it".

"Impending tidal wave" ... Surf's up!
