MOSCOW (AP) — Russia's first lady Svetlana Medvedeva has taken Michelle Obama and her two daughters on a tour of the Kremlin.
They toured the Kremlin as President Barack Obama held talks with Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev on arms control and other issues.
The fortified Kremlin is a leading tourist attraction in Moscow as well as where the presidential offices are situated.
Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha toured the Kremlin's Winter Garden and the Cathedral of the Assumption.
They also visited the Armory, which boasts a large collection of imperial regalia, and the State Diamond Fund, home to the 190-carat Orlov diamond and the world's largest sapphire.
The Obama family's Kremlin tour came just hours after they arrived in Moscow on Monday afternoon.

What is with her obsession of wearing the huge belts that make it obvious she has a big belly and no a waist line???
I don't have a problem with the girls going on official trips as long as the financial part is handled properly - though I don't know what proper is.
The girls should be able to experience visiting foreign countries while the opportunities are there. Children should be exposed to positive educational experiences. Learning by being there is far better than learning about it in a book.
I don't begrudge the girls these opportunities. They can't help that their daddy is a yutz and their momma is an angry, walking fashion disaster!
I don’t know if she likes Militant Michelle or not but Russia’s first lady seems to be graciously entertaining, while Militant Michelle looks pissy.

Hey, give her a break. She got the one with interchangable buckles in 10 different colors. All the girls in her 7th grade class are SO jealous. Oh wait, never mind...
Another example of her iconic fashion sense. Whoever told Michelle the belt was a good idea needs glasses or secretly hates her.
