Some trucks haul chemicals. They frequently must be washed out between loads of different products, to avoid cross contamination.

Okay, and you don't see a problem if the chemicals rinsed out of a truck are dumped down the sewer?

They washed the outside of trucks not the inside of tankers

and if they did it's still no reason for two life altering injuries at home in the dead of night in the name of saving the environment
