I love Fred, but, seriously, he wimped out on us the last cycle.

The media will come through Sarah...we may not like it, but the press didn’t like Reagan, hence my new addage:

The amiable dunce is back, in a skirt and high heels.

Amiable yes. Dunce? Only if you believe a false stereotype.

You’re talking about the governor who had a budget surplus and has fought and even cut taxes.

Fred Thompson didn't "wimp out" on anyone. He reluctantly gave up his comfortable life because he was convinced by supporters that their would be a large conservative base for his candidacy. There wasn't. If anyone "wimped out" it was the self proclaimed "social" conservatives who were played like a fiddle by Huckabee and his supporters. Much of the conservative base that should have supported Fred, instead supported a faux conservative huckster.

Fred only does things his way and wasn't about to stick around when the reason for his candidacy didn't materialize. Come to think of it, that's one of the things that drives some people crazy about Sarah, she does things her own way even if it doesn't please the pundits. I like that about both of them.

Reagan finished his term as governor. He did the job he was elected to do. Sarah is not going to.

This is her ruination. She is politically dead now. Dems know it, and were probably the ones who tricked her into making this decision.

Most Americans will NOT respect a person who quits their job and leaves their responsibilities to someone else. They will NOT vote her in as President. To win, she would have to get the most votes, from all of America. Americans do not admire a quitter. That is just a fact. They will not trust her.

Stupid move, stupid, stupid move!
