"Every one knows the problem but cannot openly discuss it."

please, tell us....what is the "problem" that can't be discussed?.....give a hint....

knowing a lot about NYS since I lived there the first 22 yrs of my life, and having lots of relatives there.....my guess is the THE major problem is the pensions......they are destroying everyhing and anything in its path.....

when one realizes that some of those "honorable" police and firemen used the 911 attacks to bankroll up to $200,000 a year pensions, then the problem is very evident....greed...

No the biggest portion of revenue goes to welfare freeloaders.
By FAR.

In My County the budget is consumed by 51% of welfare.
