Zero is looking like a sleep cell everyday.
He’s going to bury America just as Gorbechev burried Soviet Union.

Sure seems to be the plan....

We should be reminded,it is not so much what zero may think on a given subject, but the quality and expertise of those think tanks his administration depend on giving him sound advice.
His naive ideas must be tested against people who make it their business to study foreign affairs in detail. And I am sure some are giving him a education as how the Russians at large operate. Just for instance. I believe I heard the term used by someone on a Heritage Panel discussion days back use the term... one foot in the past (Cold War), regarding Russia's over all attitudes toward dealing with the west. Then I hear him supposedly making this quote.
We can see since he took office much of what he thought regarding the military is now changed. It now appears it is not imperative to close Gitmo in haste. He admits there are some regardless of where terrorist should be sent, which are to dangerous to be put in a place where they may be freed.
He is like a kid that is placed in a high place of office, say the POTUS. Then finds out he knows shit about anything of real consequence.
But he and his masters are clever. They knew the US position to start draw downs in Iraq and increase the Afghanistan SASO prior to the election. Numbers for Afghanistan where discussed and made public prior to the election for those of us that remember articles that flew our way at FR and those found for the past few years at CENTCOM etc.. No surprises. He did not figure on the financial meltdown perpetrated by his ACORN cronies of course. So he has a real job on his hand. He figured he was going to slide into a easy four year term riding on all the work GWB got done, especially on the GWOT, and what was a fairly robust economy despite the oil issues.
Now he finds himself against a rock and a hard place. He has to produce. Something he does not seem to be prepared to do.
The POTUS is above his pay grade. And yes like most here, I am worried about his abilities to sort out the facts between offensive nuclear weapons and defensive weapons. The Russians do not want short ranged nuclear delivery systems to be on the agenda, just the long range ICBM's. They don't want us to perfect smart highly reliable ICBM interceptors. It nullifies their ability to threaten us.
Who is representing our side in these talks. I fear we shall come out on the short end of things on the nuclear issues.
