We are seeing even those small marks of personal pride and independence — the freedom to rev up the engine on a Friday night — taken away. The muscle cars, under the diktat of the president and head of General Motors, are simply being eliminated and replaced by Yugo-style cars. The common retort to my lament is that such a boost to the male ego is silly in light of global warming and the greater good. What I find alarming, though, is that today’s generation submits to such authority.
And what about those from the upper-middle classes who had dreams of becoming doctors, executives, or entrepreneurs? As our president defies history and the Constitution by firing executives, citizens applaud.
Perhaps the most disturbing sight for me during the campaign — even more than Obama before the mobs in Berlin — was the corn-fed Midwestern couple starring on one of Obama’s commercials. Those were the people that I grew up with — salt of the earth. But I winced as I heard them tell Obama about their personal problems with bills and health care while soft music played in the background creepily....

before obamanation, we had never had a real traitor (thus did not even consider that one would run for office) running for office... the lies were constant, and to the uninformed, tickled the ears..... good people want to believe the best of others... that is where obamanation (Hitler, etc) gained ground... his words promised help... his actions have been just the opposite.

Have a little faith in America. We will survive BO. Either his plans will work (which I tend to doubt) or they won’t and he will be a massive flop one term president, and possibly take the liberal dems down with him.
What I think everybody misses, is that it is one thing to throw stones at BO. In fairness to him, this mess didn’t start with him. It is better to try to figure some cogent way out of this mess and smarmy platitudes from the GOP ain’t going to cut the mustard.
IMHO, the way out is to print money to pay off the deficits, print money to provide health care, and print money to give to Americans to pay off their debts, and start over.
Inflation will go thru the roof. The Chicoms will hate us. The Arabs will hate us. Heck, most of the world will hate us, but IMHO, we come first.
Sadly, we will probably spend years and years trying to do this the old way and be in a state of stagnation.

Most of the world gave up the fight a long time ago and succumbed to socialism/communism/islam and feel no urge to be free. We have politicians in Congress who prefer and push to reach this social condition.
What nation could possibly be free and independent while it maintains membership in the UN?
Not in THIS household. NEVER.
You are surely welcome to your opinion.... but evil the magnitude of obamanation leaves scorched earth for generations.
