TROLL ALERT
*************
This poster has a pattern of going to any thread about SP, and trashing her. He is a RomneyBot. This is getting ridiculous. I am posting troll alerts against him.
I am not alone in noticing his negative trolling. Here is just two from another thread yesterday. It’s been going on for weeks.

You need to point out in that graphic that counterpoint is a Romney troll, that is what drives him.

Romney trolls are a special breed.

Can we vote to get that troll banned? As you point out - he is spreading his propaganda on this conservative site - I despise his using FR for his agenda.

We can handle this.

We don’t need the Hall Monitor.

Newt doesn’t write autobiographies...

Bingo!!

He’s a serious individual, a man of ideas.

Serious people can write autobiographies. How about Ben Franklin? Or Pres. Grant? Or MacArthur?

Of course Sarah is not as important as those men, but anyone can see that serious people can write best-selling autobiographies.

Obama's autobiography propelled him to national attention. Luckily for him... the Left didn't point out Obama's discrepancies and omissions in his book.

But, if Newt's autobiography leaves out the more sordid details of his life, the Leftist press would have a heyday.

'counterpunch' is an obsessive compulsive troll who has been stalking all the Palin threads over the past few weeks.

He believes that Sarah Palin was the only one on the GOP ticket in 2008 and that it was 100% all her fault that Obama won the election.

His posting history makes you shake your head in disgust...

No, voters vote for whatever motivates them to vote.
McCain’s entire campaign strategy was to get people to come out and vote for his “bold pick” of Palin.
And though many came out to vote for her, she still came up short on delivering those votes in the end.

You ca’t expect people to compartmentalize these things in an election.
They’re not saying, “man, I’d really like to vote for Palin, but I have to vote for the top of the ticket only.”
It doesn’t work like that.

Every one of Sarah Palin’s supporters came out to vote for her, and there were 60 million of them.
Every one of 0bama’s supporters came out to vote and there were 70 million of them.

Some people have falsely accused me of claiming Palin made McCain lose. That’s not true. This isn’t a 3-legged race. It is a race with 4 people. Each brings their supporters out to vote, and the team with the most combined supporters wins.

0bama was the one on the Democrat ticket with all the supporters.
Palin was the one on the Republican ticket with all of the supporters.
McCain may have contributed to his own ticket modestly, so Sarah’s total numner of supporters is actually somewhat less than 60 million.
Biden brought absolutely no supporters to the Democrat ticket.
Then the votes got counted, and the team with the most votes total won.
Biden was no help to his team at all.
McCain was barely a help to his.
So that made it a race for the most votes primarily between 0bama and Palin.
And Palin came up 10 million votes short.

If she challenged obama again, she should suffer the same fate.
Just like Dewey, Stevenson, and Mondale all did in ill-fated rematches before her.

Yeah, serious people can write autobiographies, but that is not all they write.
That is all someone like 0bama writes*.

*(Bill Ayers wrote 0bama’s first book.)

You’re full of BS again.

I agree 100%. If she is tried of all the unfair BS she had to face then fine, but for people to claim this is a good thing for her political career they are sadly mistaken or are brainwashed. She quit before finishing her first term, if anyone things the press is hard on her now, just wait until if she tries to run for anything else. This would be brought up in every debate, snide comments will constantly be being made by dem’s and by her Republican rivals forever, hell I would do the same if she was my competition. example “How could the people of this great nation trust Mrs. Palin when she didn’t have the sticktuitiveness to complete one term of an office that the people of Alaska elected her for. Can we expect the same with this greater office she running for?”

She’s only the leader if the example is to resign.

She’s only the leader if the example is to resign have integrity. Sarah shows great integrity by doing what she did. She hasn't been able to do her job as Governor because of all the frivolous lawsuits against her. It's not fair to the people of Alaska to have to have Sarah's staff spend time and money defending these lawsuits. Let the Lt. Gov take over now, run the state properly and then run for reelection as an incumbent. Sarah is the most ethical politician I've seen in a long time - she's puting the people of her State before her political ambitions and I will proudly stand by her side when she runs for President.

Bob Dole was the first candidate I could cast a vote for president. I wasn't enthusiastic about him, but he got my vote.

Regarding him resigning from the senate, it was the right thing for him to do. The same goes for Palin if she's looking to run for higher office, especially since she would be a long ways away from Alaska if running.

Back to Dole, I applaud him for stepping down, because that's not something a lot of politicians would do. McCain, Lieberman, Clinton, Obama, Kerry, or Biden wouldn't do it. Regardless of who won or lost, I'm not so much of a fan of my tax dollars going to pay their salaries as worthless senators AND their presidential campaigns.

I don’t want to find 100 links to articles showing you the basic political wisdom that “people vote for the top of the ticket” It wouldn’t take too long to find those articles, but I suspect you know that already.

Apparently you’re a Romneybot troll.

I read your odd theory on another thread that in this one unique case, it wasn’t McCain that people were voting for or against, but Palin.

It just doesn’t work that way.

What a substantial number of people said was “I like Palin, but I hate McCain, and Palin is only the Vice President, and Palin will have to follow McCains policies, so I’ll sit home”

Sometimes the liking of Palin was enough to overwhelm the hating of McCain, sometimes the liking of Palin wasn’t enough to overwhelm the hating of McCain.

Some of Sarah Palin’s supporters hated McCain so much that
they couldn’t hold their nose and vote for McCain. Let’s say that’s 10 million people who stayed home and didn’t vote for McCain because they hated McCain more than they liked Palin, or they realized that Palin was the VP, and it was McCain who was making the decisions.

You shouldn’t take the word of the frothing HuckaBots.
They see “RomneyBot trolls” everywhere.
Everyone who won’t drink their Kool-Aid is an agent of Romney.
They’re like the Leftists who see the eeevil hand of Karl Rove in everything.

I’m not sure what a Romneybot troll is, but it probably has something to do with a person who praises Romney, which is crazy for a Republican to do, because Romney’s the guy who was Governor of Mass when Gay Marriage was legalized there. Romney is certainly no conservative.

10 million Palin supporters stayed home because they don’t like McCain?
That is pure fantasy.
Palin supporters all jumped at the opportunity to vote for their girl.
They weren’t going to let some fuddy old man come between them and Sarah.
After all, once they got Sarah in as VP, she would almost certainly be finishing McCain’s term as president, and running for reelection on the top of the ticket in 2012.
