I would hardly say she failed, as she negotiated a pipeline they had been trying to get for about 16 years, cleaned up some graft (which stepped on some toes and caused some of the ethics charges), several bills for things like saving the caribou that helped her state. She is still a good speaker and charismatic--she is a rock solid conservative and can help other conservatives campaign or anything she choses.

I am helping by contributing to her PAC, because her family should not be bankrupted by the hate and enmity shown her. She has never deserved the ridicule.

Further, she would have made one hell of a lot better president than Obama, who hasn't even the experience Sarah has, and who does not love the US and see its exceptionalism. He goes out for ice cream and hamburgers more than Clinton did--wonder what that costs per excursion while he tells us to suck it up.

While the purple-lipped boy-king tells us we can run our vehicles and power plants on ice cream. . . .

In another time, that would translate to "let them eat cake"--

Great time to be Sarah Palin--

She failed in her commitment to the voters who hired her for four years. There is no way around that. I hate Obama, a million people could do a better job than him. He's a fraud who is ruining our country. Plain had a chance to lead by example and she quit. I hope she stays out of the limelight and makes a bunch of money. I wish her the best but I won't be supporting her for office.

I can't imagine what's going to happen if a scandal is behind this.

I would hardly say she failed,... Agreed.

Dems seem to put "office" above ALL else. When she (personally) became more of a story for the MSM than what she wanted to accomplish for her state, perhaps slowing the progress she wanted, she steps aside for the good of her state. Here in Illinois (helleeo!), we've seen our share of politicians who vainly put themselves above their state, party and family again & again & again.
