Obviously I did not get the same feeling you got from her speech.

There were also aspects of her speech where she says that she is fed up with personal intrusions from the media etc and she listens to what her family wants, so some kind of hint that she is not interested for herself to run for some office and do active campaigning.

Sarah made a clear point that she was out of government for the moment.

As far as listening to what her family wants she said:

“Want me to make a positive difference and fight for ALL our children’s future from outside the Governor’s office?” It was four “yes’s” and one “hell yeah!” The “hell yeah” sealed it - and someday I’ll talk about the details of that...”

Again, maybe just me, but it sounds like she is not backing away from anything, but rather the opposite.

maybe you can point me to what exactly she did say that gives you the impression?
