I love Sarah but you can’t quit in the middle of a term when the job you want is 3.5 years away.

I don’t think she will run in 12.

Then you didn't watch the press conference.

Nothing, and I mean nothing that she said in that press conference could be construed that she is walking away from that fight. Quite the contrary, she was stating that she was going to continue the fight, not sit down and shut up.

Listening to her speech on Fox, she is laying the groundwork for higher office. I think it is a mistake, if higher office is what she wants.

Doesn’t work for me.

She may run for the Senate seat.

I don’t she’ll run either...odd way to start up your 2012 run by quitting as gov for no reason and announcing it on one of the biggest newsdump sweep under the rug days before the 4th of July.

I was thinking the same thing.

Note, however, that the last Presidential Primary season began at right about this time in the cycle...

She also knows she’s a lightning rod, she’s taking the heat away from the State...

I think it was a very smart move, I had a problem with some of the double standards I saw. Now it looks like she didn’t like it either. I respect her much more today then I did yesterday. This way she can act like a traditional conservative woman while still having a future. Having a baby and being a governor just didn’t look right. I won’t mind if she runs for President. By then her baby will be old enough for school. That’s the way it should be. She can still be politically active without having to act like some politically correct liberal. I thought her speech was great. I might end up actually really liking her and maybe even voting for her in the primary!
