Missed the Tea Party comments. May need to borrow some pitch forks from the good folks in Tulare.

We had a good turnout yesterday at the La Canada Tea Party, about 500 or so. It wasn’t as well advertised as I think it could have been.

Victoria Jackson was there. For a dingy broad, she gave an excellent presentation. I think her dingy shtick must be a put-on to a certain degree.

The program lasted from 3:00pm until after 7:00pm.

Well, the first media report I’ve seen on the rally (The Visalia Times-Delta) estimated 15,000. But they’re biased against patriotism of course.

So I got about two hours - now that I am off of the roof.

Here is a funny - if you have enough stuff to do a roof, WITHOUT a trip to the store...

Nope - sent the wife out for felt. Ran short. Oddly, I had enough shingles, trim, roofing nails, a compressor, a roofing nailer, a stick nailer, roof stripping tools, a chain saw, ...

Dang. My neck is burnt.

I kicked in 50 clams a little while ago from CA. Wish I could have attended a rally, but had to work today. Thank you, Jim, for the best site on the Internet and all that you do. And Happy Independence Day to you and yours!
