Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will make what her office is only calling an "announcement" at 11 AM local (3 Eastern) from her home in Wasilla.
Speculation is raging both in Alaska and in the Lower 48 that she'll reveal her plans regarding next year's gubernatorial race.
So much for today being a slow news day.

I think she’ll take Krauthammer’s advice and get educated on foreign policy, do a lot of traveling, make speeches, etc...just like RWR did after his term as gov of California.

Time to get the POTUS primary shoes on for running!

There is no senate seat she can run for. Begich isn’t up until 2014.
I don’t see how she can win the presidency absent a huge shift in public perceptions about her.

You do know that Chris Wallace is Mike Wallace’s son, right?

I bet she is getting out of politics altogether. The left has smeared her and her family for so long and so hard that I think she has had it. I hope I am wrong, but I bet that is it.

It would be very discouraging if she caved in the the bullies.

Yes, of course. No surprise the elitist attitude doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Nonsense. Why would she bother with a PAC then? She is aspiring for the highest office.

I'm not sure this is good news or bad news we're hearing from Alaska. I would love to see her in the White House someday soon.

I wouldn’t blame her a bit if that was the case.

She will need to spend the time learning a lot of things, so we don’t see any more repeats of the Couric interview. While I’m open to Palin, I am not yet a convert, we shall see.

During the election, my father had that “McCain/Palin” sticker on his golf cart. The day after the election, he took an Xacto knife and sliced off the top half. Now he drives around with just “Palin” on his cart!

It would be very discouraging if she caved in the the bullies. If her children were all grown I don't think she would cave. She doesn't want Piper and Trig infested with the BS, she is a mother first. I would bet she continues to fight the lefties but not from an(political)office of any kind.

That’s why she starts now. She can turn it around but she’s going to be given a harder time than any one else, as we saw during the last few months. It’s not fair, but it’s a fact. I say, get to it and more power to her.
