You know what, no. I will not have you besmirching the memory of a great American comedian by comparing him to Al Franken.

Mark Dayton was an assclown who made Minnesota the laughingstock of the nation by holding the honor of the dumbest senator with a penis. Al Franken will make Mark Dayton look intelligent.

Thanks for the ping, FRiend. Is that the entire article above, or is it excerpted? (I went to the Waterbury Republican-American site and couldn’t find the article.) Thanks...

Hey , this in Minne-so-cold. Their brains are frozen.
Don't forget they voted in Mark Dayton to the Senate and Jesse Ventura as governor.
Now 0bama has his filibuster proof Senate to go along with his superduper majority in the House of unRepresenatives. Once he/they gets a majority on the Supreme Court, it is over.

My attitude on this sort of thing is changing. I now believe that if a Republican is not smart enough to see this sort of thing coming and nip it in the bud then he's not smart enough to hold the office. Correct me if I am wrong, but AFAIK Tom McClintock is the only Republican to outmaneuver a Democrat recount scam. Studying the management his last election campaign for Congress could prove salutary for many Republicans.

The biggest farce was the canvassing board “recount” of disputed ballots. Every ballot was online, and voted on by both experts and by the public, and both agreed that the result of that count should have left Coleman in the lead.

But instead, the canvasing board time and again rejected Coleman votes and manufactured votes for Franken.

Coleman meanwhile never caught on that he had to harass absentee voters who had been rejected to find out which ones voted for him. Franken’s team did this by getting their home addresses, and in the end they knew exactly what envelopes had Franken votes in them, and those were the ones they brought.

And the courts failed in their obligation to the law, when they allowed the canvasing board to THROW OUT A RECOUNT that showed Franken with 131 fewer votes than on election night, and instead going back to the original election-night count — in direct violation of both the law and prior court rulings.

Coleman of course is to blame as well, he and Pawlenty, for supporting McCain, who did terribly in Minnesota.
