Sanford heading to Florida for the Fourth (Visiting in-laws)

Gov. Mark Sanford will spend the long Fourth of July holiday weekend with his wife, Jenny, and their family in Florida, his office said today.

Sanford will leave for Florida on Friday morning.

Now I am sitting here thinking: If I had done what Mark Sanford has done with multiple women, would I want to spend the weekend with my wife's parents?

I can imagine the bared fangs and claws from my mother in law and meeting my father in law at the front door might not work either. If the rolls were reversed and my son in law had Sanford's track record and then came to spend the weekend with me.........oh my God.........

When my daughter got back together with a boyfriend that made out with another girl (they were in 9th grade or something) I practically tortured the kid when he came over the house. I got the evil eye from my wife and daughter, but I am sure that kid will remember me forever.

Well if Sanford calls his Argentinian mistress his 'soul mate' so I can't see what Jenny Sanford has to reconcile with. A clean end to the whole farce of a marriage is in the best interests of both.
