How’s your Marine recruit doing? Any word? We’ve had a postcard and a note from Anoreth; I guess she gets a few minutes to write on Sunday. She didn’t mention going to church, but I assume she did!
We sent him to sleepaway camp with pre-addressed, stamped envelopes with a sheet of paper inside -- and got ONE letter the entire summer! (and doubtless that was the evening when a letter home was your meal ticket for supper!)
And he's much busier and more tired than he ever was at summer camp.
