Kmiec’s 30 pieces of silver ...
To: SErtelt; Saint Athanasius
President Barack Obama has named Douglas Kmiec....as the ambassador to Malta. Looks like Kmiec is finally getting his thirty pieces of silver.

Kmiec has been a shill for Obama for some time. I know Chris Wallace had him on during Obama’s speech at Notre Dame. Kmiec is of the school that if you just have more wealth redistribution there would be fewer abortions.

But for Malta, Doug?

Given the significance of Malta and the Knights of Malta in the Catholic Church, this is nothing short of a slap in the face. When is O going to the Vatican? I think in the coming weeks?

I think this was Plan B or even Plan C when Kmiec sold out. I think he wanted to be Ambassador to the Vatican and that got shot down.

I could care less about what happens to Kmiec.
What I AM concerned about is Obama's attempts to split the Catholic Church along conservative versus liberal lines and present the liberal lines to the rest of the world as the face of the Catholic Church in America.
This is a very cynical and overt attempt to justify and draw liberal Catholics to his causes and to try to marginalize conservative Catholics.
To: SErtelt
He was denied communion last year during a meeting of Catholic business leaders because of his endorsement and repeated campaigning for Obama. If true, perhaps the archbishop of Malta could be made aware of this.

Malta used to be an
intensely Catholic country. Canon law was essentially the law of the land.
I'm sure it has suffered at the hands of liberalism and relativism like everywhere else but there's a chance Doug may receive some religious and cultural schooling in this country, which could, if taken the right way, point him on the road to salvation.
