Rasmussens new poll, taken before the release of Junes unemployment numbers, shows significant slippage for Barack Obama on the economy, his central issue. Only 42% of American voters give him excellent or good marks on handling the economy, the lowest ratings he has yet received. His personal approval rate has fallen to 53%, and the passion index has dropped to -2:

I would love to meet these 42%. I have a very nice bridge to sell them.

Once they pooled all their *government benefits*, that 42%would probably be able to afford your bridge. If you get my drift.

Looks like 42% are stupid blind Americans and are still holding on to the Messiah. All hail King Obama, American Communists leader.

didn’t realize that our crack-smoking population had risen all the way up to 42%

The 42% baffles me. How anyone could think he has done anything of substance on the issue of the economy makes no sense at all.
More than likely they haven't a clue, voted for Obama and wouldn't dream of saying anything against the man.

And when the next wave of foreclosures hit in late-2009, only to go HIGHER in early-2010 thru mid-2012, Obama's going to have even MORE fun!

If you go to the site and read it it is not slow. He is tanking fast and the independents are disapporving in huge numbers.
People are seeing him as a sham.
The internals of this polling,,only seen if you click,,are amazing to me. He is dropping like a big ole stone.

The longer he’s in office the more passionate my feelings about the guy!

That is a huge accomplishment when you have one of the worst economies in 26 years and 42% of the people you polled give him excellent or good marks on how he is handling the economy???
Ice cream for everyone!!

And we are just getting started pain-wise. I don't believe his “fixes” for the economy are going to do anything other than make things worse...higher costs, higher unemployment, higher inflation, etc. There's some real perfect storm economic ugliness on the horizon. We'll need to retool the misery index to account for it when we hit it...and we will hit it.

Looks like Obama’s base it at 42% at this point. As we bleed more jobs and State’s run out of fun money, it will go down. There are a lot of blacks still looking for the thing in washington to buy them steaks, cars and houses.
