Cedar Rapids businessman and flood recovery leader Christian Fong has entered the race for governor, calling for new leadership to restore the Iowa dream.
Sadly, today I see the dream being ripped away from future generations, Fong said. Hes seeking the Republican nomination to challenge first-term Democratic Gov. Chet Culver. The dream has to be restored.

The problem is he’s made donations to Democrats and liberal causes. To be sure, they are small, but they’re there none the less.
Much as I'd like to take your word for it, I'll need some additional information before I'm convinced. :-)

This should be a lesson to those who may want to some day run for office as a Republican. Don't donate to Democrats.
