You seem unable to read.

And you seem unable to comprehend. If you could you would have known that my point was this: his disgusting behavior with little boys was a helluva lot more than simply "character flaws". OK? Get it? Jeeeez.

As for "artistic genius" he made one great album and a number of good ones, all during one decade. So, if he was a genius, he was not a long-term one.

You DON’T read.

I have not once said I disagreed with your sentiments about his flaws. I have repeatedly said he will be remembered for them.

However, it is also true that he will be remembered as a great artist.

I acknowledge all his flaws as you do.

But you seem to think his artistic talent will not and should not be recognized, because of his character flaws.

On a moral level one could say it should not, but on a practical level it simply will be; simply because he was, musically, very talented.

You seem only able to address how BAD” that fact is - that he will be remembered for his talent, even as he is remembered for his flaws.

I am not making a statement against your moral sentiments, but simply noting what will happen regardless of our moral sentiments.

You might feel that is morally unfair, morally not right.

But it simply is what happens when the world’s people remember such persons - they remember the personal flaws and the talent. That’s the way it is.
