I think the one sure idea that will always remain fixed about Michael is that he demonstrated what many extremely great talents have done throughout history - a personality that combined the dual traits of great artistic genius with tragic character flaws. I think history will not destroy the memory of either one.

I highly doubt that his eternal place will justify it that way. Even Adolph Hitler had “Great artistic genius” which does nothing to cancel out the great wrong he committed in his life.
