The one that would really get 'em would be "in what year was the Constitution ratified and where (what city)."
I’m willing to bet that you’d see similar results in other states.
How do you think they generate Obama voters?
You still think I'm exaggerating. Okay. Look at the S.A.T.. They took out analogies because kids were clueless and replaced analogies with a subjective essay to write. This gives them wiggle room without a right/wrong answer dilemma. Kids were tanking on analogies so something easier was put in. Analogies require CLEAR THINKING AND LOGIC - it had to go. If you are not a home schooler, become a closet home schooler otherwise your child will join the stupid and the dumb.
Two generations of public education and leftist controlled media means that we are very close to the marxist takeover/coup that Yuri Bezmenov predicted back in the ‘80’s. I dont believe it can be stopped now.
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Since then I've added more meat to it. I also keep her informed on what is going on.
I made sure she knew it.
I have my own required reading list. She's in fourth grade now and cruising through Animal Farm. She must write a summary for each chapter. Other required readings include, the Communist Manifesto, The Humanist Manifesto and the Christian Manifesto. When she is done with Animal Farm, I will then require her to write a compare and contrast essay on all three.
After the news, thank God ... she's learned to play the harp and settles me down. I am LIVID at what is going on in DC with these imbeciles.
This is a dog bites man story. Call me back when you have a story about well educated students instead of public school drones.
Are most AZ high school students (?) citizens??? /sarc
I agree. I am on these message boards **daily** crying out to conservatives to remove their children from the government K-12 schools and to work mightily to shut them DOWN! Conservative must work to set up tuition-free, conservative, private alternatives!
I feel like Jeremiah of the Old Testament.
Yuri Bezmenov was right. The “demoralization” is complete. Only “remoralization” can save this nation. Sadly conservatives are clueless!
That’s alright, I got #5 wrong, I said “God”
One is sometimes tempted to favor Heinlein’s solution regarding voting status. As it is, this country is headed for a fall.
The mind is almost limitless, given enough time. If you learn the basics of math you have the foundation to learn advanced math. If you have a good education in world history you are in a better place to learn the history of Argentina or Mesopotamia or wherever. If you study Latin, it will help you learn Spanish or Italian. But the educrats claim that children should barely be taught basic skills because if they are crowded with basic facts they will not have enough room for advanced facts. If children are taught basic math too well, someday their little minds will not have enough room for College Algebra or Calculus. What insanity.
LOL! I remembered that they’ve had lots of 5:4 decisions lately...
ack....That’s right....now I’m REALLY embarrassed.
My nine year old missed only two.
She didn’t know the term of a Senator and thought there were eight justices.
The correct answer to #7 is Republican and Communist.
